When I finished grad school, I began my work life as a full time symphony violinist. My mentor was the concertmaster of the Chicago symphony. I was one intense, driven classical musician. Along came Tai Chi Gung and Master Lama Rasaji. Everything I thought I knew about music was about to change.
Tai Chi Gung is a system of health and longevity begun by Lao Tzu. It was born out of 50 years immersed in Nature, seeking her guidance. It is the art and science of connecting to the force that sustains all life. It was born from Nature herself.
Through this evening of music and Tai Chi Gung, I’ll share my story. How abiding in Nature led to playing music with Angels. It has continued now for more than 30 years. I’ll share the ancient, ancient exercises of Lao Tzu that make this possible, for listeners and musicians alike.
