Mountain Stream

These images capture Bear Creek between Evergreen and Morrison, CO. in mid-winter.

Ponderosa Pine

Ponderosa Pines thrive in Reynold’s Park near Conifer CO. It’s a favorite hike of mine. Many reach nearly 50 tall.

Spring in Winter

A late April snow fall in Washington Park, Denver CO. after the apple blossoms had already begun to emerge. This scene was short lived. By afternoon, much of the snow had already melted.

Name

Blue Sky

After decades spent in the hazy, humidity filled skies of Florida, I was delighted to find clear Colorado mountain skies almost every sunny day, and only a short drive up into the foothills.

Heaven and Earth

These are photographs taken by Kirsten Mumford in Scotland where she lived for a time. We share a deep appreciation for Nature. I’m grateful to her for allowing me to use her work as inspiration for music. See more of Kirsten’s Photography: www.kirstenmumford.zenfolio.com

Colorado Snow

There are places with a beautiful view and there are high energy spots. Sometimes the high energy spots aren’t always the post card views. Along a trail in Meyer’s Ranch Park, there are a small grove of Blue Spruce. They’re among the oldest trees in that park. It’s a very special high energy place. I go there and hang out. People really wonder why I stop. Here’s the view from there in January.
